Program Description

Immerse yourself in the language and culture of Costa Rica!

This is an excellent opportunity for students to advance their Spanish language studies and become more marketable in their profession - all while expanding their global horizons. Costa Rica is well known for peace, environmental leadership, and a natural beauty. Throughout this four-credit program, you will live with Costa Rican families and attend language classes 5 hours a day (M-F). We will tour the capital and Poas Volcano and engage in enlightening (and optional) evening activities such as hiking, zip-lining, horseback riding and nature visits to see why Costa Rica is one of the happiest places on Earth.


FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE:
Scholarships up to $1,000 are available through HACC Foundation. Applying for scholarships does not guarantee receipt of funds. If you qualify, financial aid can be applied to the program fee. Contact the Financial Aid office on your campus.
