Amazing Food, Worldly Tours, International Culinary Classes, Architecture and Culture are just some of the highlights of this power packed Culinary and Cultural Experience!

Students will spend time in Spain with visits to Madrid, Toledo, and Salamanca, participating in tours and tastings at a manchego cheese producer, an olive oil producer, and an Iberian pig farm. If you do not know what an Iberian pig is, you need to find out! It is used to make what is said to be the best flavor in the world, Jamon de Serrano. We will immerse ourselves into the Spanish culture by having a cooking class and wine class with a Spanish Chef, visiting museums and local markets, and attending a group dinner and Flamenco show. When we are finished in Spain, we will travel to Porto and Lisbon, Portugal where we will visit a “Port” wine maker, and have culinary class at the vineyard. We will embark on a small river cruise and visit local markets an museums of Portugal along with a group dinner and Fado Show.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE:
Scholarships up to $1,000 are available through HACC Foundation. Applying for scholarships does not guarantee receipt of funds. If you qualify, financial aid can be applied to the program fee. Contact the Financial Aid office on your campus.
