Microeconomics deals with current economic policies and problems and special topics such as government regulations, income distribution, and labor economics. In addition to pre-travel classes, students will travel to Serbia learn first-hand a different economic environment. Enrolled students will travel to Belgrade to compare and understand economic policies and systems in context through visits to the Central Bank, Ministry of Economy (Ministry dealing with the microeconomic issues), and American Chamber (organization that works with local businesses and government ensuring that the local laws and regulations promote growth of businesses and protect consumers). Visits to the businesses and organizations mentioned above, as well as to local businesses, will expose students to government regulations, labor issues, directions and problems facing economies in transition.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE:
Scholarships up to $1,000 are available through HACC Foundation. Applying for scholarships does not guarantee receipt of funds. If you qualify, financial aid can be applied to the program fee. Contact the Financial Aid office on your campus.
